In alignment with the NEP’s focus on competency-based learning, our teaching methods are dynamic, interactive, and learner-centric. We employ a variety of innovative pedagogical strategies such as:

Subject-Specific Pedagogy for In-Depth Learning

Our curriculum emphasizes conceptual understanding and real-world applications across subjects, in alignment with the NCF’s recommendations for subject-specific pedagogy:

  • Language Skills: Our focus on developing language proficiency includes activities that enhance reading, writing, speaking, and listening skills, enabling students to communicate confidently and effectively.
  • Mathematics: Students are taught to understand mathematical concepts deeply and apply them to solve real-life problems, fostering logical reasoning and critical thinking.
  • Science: Through hands-on experiments, inquiry-based learning, and collaborative projects, we inspire scientific curiosity and foster a deep understanding of the natural world.
  • Social Studies: We encourage students to critically analyze history, geography, civics, and economics, promoting a deeper understanding of societal issues and their role as informed global citizens.

Admission Process (PSAT)

Admission will be granted to Non-Presidency Students only if they clear the Written Admission Test as well as the interview. The written assessment, Presidency School Admission Test (PSAT) will be on the intimated date for students seeking admission to Class I onwards. During the evaluation, the presence of both parents will be mandatory. The PSAT is based on the previous year’s academic syllabus to assess the academic proficiency of the students’ seeking admissions. The primary subjects assessed are English, Science, Maths and a Language of the student’s choice.
